One to One Coaching
There are various coaching options available to the client or sponsoring organisation.
Here are a few typical options;
Executive Coaching Packages
Series of one to one coaching sessions, visionary goal-setting, 360 degree feedback from colleagues and customers via interviews, optional observation in action, measured progress with feedback against goals.
Manager Coaching Packages
Series of one to one coaching sessions, visionary goal-setting, 360 degree feedback from colleagues and customers via written questions, measured progress with feedback against goals.
Basic Coaching Packages
Series of one to one coaching sessions, visionary goal-setting, optional self-measured progress.
Single or occasional sessions to deal with a specific issue such as unfamiliar assignment, challenging feedback, career decision, confidential topic, new strategic direction, etc.
Coaching sessions are typically around 75 minutes’ duration and held monthly. A package can be anything from four to twelve sessions, depending whether the client wants to focus on a short-term change or a longer-term development.
Organisational and Customer Feedback/ Research/ Surveys
Our coaches interview a representative cross-section of staff in your organisation, including any relevant customers and other stakeholders to provide feedback to your choice of questions, with the option of full anonymity. This is immensely powerful for the true leader and reveals a wealth of useful information that you wouldn’t otherwise get. The output is a collated report of themes and a verbatim script of raw responses that can be used personally, with your lead team or shared with a wider audience, as appropriate. The same coaching tools can also be used to elicit information for research and fact-finding surveys.
Team Coaching and Team Building
We have developed a thorough package of tools and techniques for assisting you in coaching your key teams and can also provide tailor-made team-coaching/team-building days to suit your needs.
As part of the EMCC code of ethics, it is mandatory for active coaches to take part in supervisory sessions and demonstrate Continuous Professional Development. This should take place at six monthly intervals or after every 35 hours of coaching, whichever occurs first. We can provide support and supervision for your internal coaches to ensure that they provide coaching of a consistently high standard and are able to handle any ethical issues appropriately.
Coaching Skills Training/Workshops for Managers
Coaching is one of the most important leadership styles for generating long-term commitment and motivation in staff. It is also a key skill for successful delegation. We deliver tailored training workshops for senior and middle managers to give them the tools, skill and confidence to coach their own staff effectively during their normal day to day interactions and also for specific meetings such as appraisals and performance reviews. Workshop lengths depend on existing understanding and skill level and range from 2½ hrs to one or two days.
Personality Profiling Tools
A range of useful personality profiling tools is available, including Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Belbin Team Roles, 16PF and FIRO B.
